Within the scope of the “Strengthening Quality Journalism in Western Balkans and Türkiye” project, partnered by Association of Journalists (AoJ), 10 young will be able to participate “investigative journalism training”.
The training camp, which will be organized under the trainers of Hülya Eraslan and İbrahim Gündüz to create opportunities for young journalists to produce original news content in addition to vocational training, will be held for 5 days in İzmir, Sığacık Maya Bistro Hotel, with 10 young journalists. A maximum grant contribution of up to 1000 € will be given to them.
Training camp applications will open on August 2, 2023 and will continue until 18 August 2023. The applicant who is entitled to participate in the training and thus can receive support for micro projects must meet the following conditions:
- Journalists from Türkiye and Western Balkans
- To be under 45 years old
- Being a Journalism/Communication graduate (priority group) or having been worked as a journalist for at least two years (priority group)
- Being a freelance journalist
- Being a journalist working in any organization
- Women applicants will be prioritized.
To be able to apply, meeting the basic criteria will be a prerequisite. After filling out the form, applicants are required to upload their updated CVs and letter of intent to the corresponding boxes in the application form. In addition, applicants are obliged to indicate the 3 original news ideas they aim to produce within the scope of the micro-project support and which the platform they intend to publish this news.
